2013 in review – Sherlock Knits Are Still King (But Trek, Cabin Pressure, and Hannibal aren’t far behind…)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,400 times in 2013. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

It’s probably only appropriate that my Sherlock Holmes crafts are still the most viewed on the blog — after all, the short stories are the first place I came across the term “black mood” to describe depression (and debilitating depression coupled with anxiety).

I’m grateful to everyone who reads this blog, likes, and reblogs or links my posts, to my friend, Lindsay, who gave me the idea for a blog about my craft projects, to everyone who ever pointed out that making things and working on projects can be an effective distraction for depression, and to all my friends who have smiled when they get something handmade in the mail or their yuletide gift.

Thank you for another amazing year 🙂
