Very nearly three feet of cappuccino-colored dreams…

Day three of knitting the long clothing project and the cappuccino yarn is winding down. I might have just enough to finish up the “armhole that never ends” (as featured in Photo 2).

Always an issue when you’re knitting clothes — adjusting the pattern to fit a specific person’s proportions (in this case, my ginormous thickset arms). I’m using US 10.5 needles instead of US 11 as well and that creates a smaller gauge that also has to be accounted for. As a result, the 9″ armhole originally called for in the pattern is already up to 15″ and might need just one inch more.

Has anyone else had this issue?
