“Cappucino” Catherine Jacket

She’s finally finished! For my first long knitted clothing project, I opted to give Adele Cutten’s fabulous catherine jacket a try. 2 skeins Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable “Cappucino” yarn 1 skein Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable “Stained Glass” yarn US 10.5 needles Size J crochet hook Paper clips Sewing needle Scissors A Catherine jacket is a large sleeveless jacket that can be worn over a long-sleeved thermal or tee — ideally, a little larger and longer than a vest. Because I used half a needle size smaller than the pattern called for, the overall size of the project was affected, up to and including the size of the arm holes and the span of the shoulders. “One size fits most” only applies when you don’t modify. Remember that, people. Or, better still, make a gauge swatch first and adjust your measurements accordingly. Look how thrilled I am to be modeling this thing? I was one of those girls who loved to try on clothes, does it show? /sarcasm As documented, this took several weeks to knit, make up and crochet. I was pleased with it’s progress and am very pleased the finished product is going to a good home!
